New Flash version of Effective Writing
Pleasanton, Ca. - AmEnglish.com® announces a new Flash version of their online writing program, Effective Writing, designed for non-native speakers of English at the intermediate level and above. This interactive program helps
users write more clearly and concisely in English. It provides clear explanations of grammar rules, examples of common errors,
interactive practice activities that provide immediate feedback on answers, and tips for effective email communication. This
program is being used by UCSC-Extension in their English online program. An informational flash slide show about the new program
is available at: Effective Writing
"We are very pleased that we have this expanded program available in Flash," said one of the authors, Kathy L. Hans. "The options
for interactivity in this platform make the program very engaging."
English is often the default language for international communication. However, writing clear, effective email in English can be
challenging for non-native writers of the language. This program guides users through a series of steps for effective written
communication in English. In addition to colleges like UCSC-Extension, Effective Writing is used at companies like
Abbot, IBM, and TeleTech to improve corporate productivity.
