E-Learning Sound File Recording & Playback Tips:
In Windows create a sound file by following these steps:
Note:(You must have a microphone attached to your computer to make a recording)

Click the Start button in the lower left corner of your screen:

Scroll to Programs from the Start menu.

Select Programs from the Start menu.
-
Select Accessories from the drop down menu.
-
Select Entertainment or Multimedia from the drop down menu.

Select Sound Recorder from the drop down menu:

The Windows Sound Recorder Displays:

Click the red button to record your message (to get additional time, just click the red button again):

Select File from the drop down menu and name it and save it on your hard drive.

Then Email it to your coach:
Note: (You should have received your coach's e-mail address in the coaching welcome letter which is sent within five days of your enrollment in the course).
This is the method you will use to send all of your homework sound files as they are assigned.
To set the Sound Recorder in Windows to a longer recording time, please do the following:

Open the Sound Recorder (repeat steps 1-6 as necessary):

The Windows Sound Recorder Displays:

Select File from the menu.
-
Select Properties from the drop down menu:

Select Recording Formats from the drop down menu:
-
Click Convert Now:
-
Select Radio Quality from the drop down menu:
-
Select OK:
-
Be sure to LISTEN to your sound file
before it is sent to your coach, via Email, so that sound problems will be found before
sending to your coach.
